Monte Real Air Base

During the 58th aniversary of the PoAF, Air Base Nº5, located at Monte Real, Leiria, opened it´s doors to receive the public. It´s been a few years since the last big airshow was held in Portugal, but AB5 did it´s best to impress the visitors by sending up a total of 24 Vipers that made a stunning single formation pass over the crowd!

Special paint scene to comemorate the 50th aniversary of the base. A F-86 was painted in the Vipers dorso in honour of that aircraft that served in the PoAF for several decades.
